Agricultural information terminal design and crop the blades parameter measurement technology

Information is an important feature of modern agriculture,information technology is increasingly important to economic growth in agriculture. Efficient use of agricultural resources need to understand the growth of crops, the research of crop growth usually require to obtain some parameters such as leaf area.In this paper, we design and implement a leaf parameters measurement system including image acquisiton and process based on digital image processing technology, build a low-cost portable terminal based on existing hardware modules.In communication,the terminal uses the AYG-59C GSM module to complete the information transmission by the standard AT commands,can send the measuring data to the control center and makes the terminal have the wireless communication function.In environmental temperature and humidity measurements,PC sends the data query commands according to the communication protocol of the SLMT2-2 temperature and humidity data acquisition module,timely acquires envionmental temperature and humidity.In image process,use the functions related to video read and write provided the highgui module of OpenCV to complete the leaf image acquisition, then use the image process algorithms does the gray scale, filtering, segmentation, binary morpholoy process on the digital image, combines contour track, seed filling and other methods to complete the targets extraction and the calculation of the parameters. Analize the limitations of some image process algorithm and propose the improved algorithm which improves the accuracy of the real measurement.In measurement system performance analysis, measure a lareg num of samples and compare with traditional measurement methods,analize the causes of measurement error and proposes improved methods. Finally, through the standard parts prove the accuracy, We draw the conclusion that the leaf measurement system is real-time and has a high precision.
