In order to improve the accuracy and efficiency of network repairing, we design the expertsystem which is a kind of software. This paper analyzes the network structure and the commonfailure, Propose a network fault diagnosis expert system which is a combination of heuristicknowledge with the logic of knowledge, while building a knowledge base with relational databasetechnique, finally to realize inference engine by using the first floor data control technique of C#.in this paper, we make depth discussion and careful analysis in the following two aspects.1.Build a knowledge model which based on the combination of Extended fault tree and set ofrules through analyzing the knowledge about the network fault diagnosis. In detail, Logicalknowledge representation is achieved through the extension of the fault tree of knowledge,including network failures, structural and principles of knowledge. Heuristic knowledge, the basicempirical knowledge diagnostic expert using the knowledge of the rule group to achieve.2.Proposed a hybrid reasoning model of heuristic knowledge and logical knowledge, and takenot the same reasoning model for a variety of knowledge.3. Finally realizes a network breakdown expert system platform, realizes the human experts toexperience the knowledge finally the reappearance.
