This paper is supported by the item of National Nature Science Foundation of China (No. 70601025): Research on theries,methods and tools of KM integretion context, and Province-level Nature Science Foundation (No.2002 Y107133): Context-aware Personalized Information Service. For solving the problem about the information overload on the web information services, the concept of context is explicitly introduced into Personalized Information Service(PIS) and the research on basic theories, methods, key technologies and system of Context-aware Personalized Information Service(CAPIS) is conducted comprehensively and deeply in this dissertation to solve the problems and difficulties faced in the process of PIS implementation in gift e-commerce site. And the research achievements are put into practice combined with the Context-Aware Personalized Commodity Information Service in E-commerce of a gift e-commerce site.In the 1st chapter, the research background of this dissertation is described. PIS technologies and tools, context and its application in PIS are reviewed and analyzed, and the main content and structure of this dissertation are given.In chapter 2, the basic theories and technologies system of CAPIS are discussed. On the basis of the definition of PIS, context and context-aware, the definition and goal of CAPIS are clarified, and the technologies system and service process of CAPIS are built.The technologies system are analyzed systematically in chapter 3 and chapter 4.In chapter 3, after analyzing the characteristics of context and requirements of the context, the principles for context modeling and a multi-dimension context modeling method are proposed, the content of context-aware and the technologies system of context-aware service is analyzed systematically.In the 4th chapter, the personalization similarity matching technique based on context-aware are studied systematically. A semantic annotation based on ontology, the matching logic, algorithm and computational procedure of personalization similarity matching is put forward as well. Based on this architecture, the development and implementation of Context-Aware Personalized Commodity Information Service system are addressed in chapter 5.Chapter 6 reviews the achievements and innovations of this dissertation, and gives a prospect for future work.
