Orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) technology is a multi -carrier modulation methods, the basic idea is to spread high-speed serial data stream into orthogonal subcarriers for parallel transmission , subcarrier symbol rate greatly reduced, increases the duration of the symbol , which greatly improves the anti-multipath capacity of the system ; both OFDM systems overlap between the carriers and improve the spectral efficiency , it is also an efficient modulation technique . In this paper, the following aspects affecting the OFDM system's main factors, namely the channel estimation, synchronization algorithms in-depth research . The main structure is divided into four blocks: the first chapter introduces the OFDM system development and trends , explained the research background , and work to be done to make a presentation ; second chapter introduces the key technologies of OFDM , and analysis of channel estimation and synchronization for OFDM system effects ; third chapter is to channel estimation carried out studies to analyze its impact on the system , and in the conditions of the pilot insert the LS estimation algorithm for the simulation and emulation results were compared with the simulation results show that the LS channel estimation algorithm has better features. The fourth chapter analyzes the problems of the synchronization of symbol timing synchronization, carrier frequency synchronization, sampling clock synchronization algorithm description , pointing out the characteristics of each algorithm , and the CP based synchronization algorithm simulation results show that it has good the frequency capturing ability and smaller errors.
