In modern business management practices, build competency model has become a basic work of human resources management. It breaks the application of the original staff assessment and has been effectively utilized in all aspects of human resource management. It provides a good reference standard of human resource management in selection of the recruitment, training and development, performance management, incentive compensation and other links on the competency model, clearly describe the competence of certain jobs which have the competency to make human resources management work has been effectively supported.The purpose of the thesis is to put forward to the various functional modules of the core competency model for human resources.The first chapter introduces the background and significance of the research status. The second chapter explains the concept and characteristics of competency, competency model development, competency of human resources management and development of future applications. Chapter Three is the S Power Company cadres competency model, including the establishment of the structure of competency model, the dimensions of competency model design and ultimately established a common competency model. The final chapter focuses on the application of the cadres competency model in S Power Company. Then build the integration of human resource management system, selection of the recruitment system, training and development systems, performance management system as the reference of the application of the cadres competency model in S Power Company.
