Entropy is the is the best measure of system uncertainties and information volume contains, since the concept of entropy appeared, entropy theory gradually went out of the field of physics, and came into the area of chemistry, biology, society and so on, even all areas of science, it has been widely studied and applied by a lot of experts and scholars. Einstein once called the entropy theory the first law of science. The theory of entropy has been available since the rapid integration into various fields, the practicality in the measure of the amount of information, the profound meaning of itself, and the ability of penetrate into other areas could not be compared by other theories.The entropy theory related by the article is derived from the thermodynamic fields, now it has been widely used in various fields and lots of aspects.In this paper,the entropy theory is applied to the engineering project bidding process of bid evaluation decision-making choice, and provides a practical approach from a new point of view for project bidding evaluation decision. First of all, this article describes the domestic and foreign scholars’ research on the entropy theory, and makes a summary introduction to the development and current situation of the entropy theory; secondly introduces all kinds of entropy concept in the development of entropy theory since it is derived from the thermodynamic fields, then this paper makes a detailed introduction of entropy theories as well as the dissipative structure theory which is derived from the entropy concept, and analyses the application of various entropy theory in construction project bidding evaluation decision process; finally, makes use of model analysis method to demonstrate the applicability of entropy method construction project bidding decision-making process.
