As a kind of necessary consumer goods, housing is one kind of specialcommodity. It not only relates to the individual’s quality of life, but also an importantindex to measure development of social economic.Most middle and high incomefamilies purchase the commodity on the market, but the middle--income familiesneed mutual help from both market and government. To the t low-income families,they will face much more housing difficulties after they graduate.Although they are satisfied with their housing situation, but most people still hopethey can purchase their housing.Taiyuan, as the capital city of Shan xi Province, it attracts a large number ofcollege graduates in the employment. Those also face the problem of housingdifficulties.Seen from statistics of the basic situation of college graduates in ourcountry, we first analyzes the number of college graduates, employment and incomesituation, then analyzes their housing situation;Investigation shows, Taiyuan collegegraduates housing mainly based on lease. The per capita housing area is small andthe conditions is poor. Besides, housing spending accounts for the proportion ofincome is higher,Although they are satisfied with their housing situation, but mostpeople still hope they can purchase their housing in5---10years. The reason that theprice of college graduates of Taiyuan goes up endless is mainly because highhousing prices continuing and the loss of housing security policy and the concept ofconsumption of housing.As a result, we should take the following steps: safeguardpolicy, reasonable utilization of rebuilding the villages, encourage enterprises toprovide collective dormitory, increase small family and rental housing and soon.besides we should also set up the correct guide its housing consumption.
