Modern and contemporary prose is known as "classic". It is a beauty of language and complete structure, philosophy, deep attracted broad high school students. It becomes one of the reading styles which high school students like most. But modern and contemporary prose classroom teaching effect is actually unsatisfactory. Based on the current high school Chinese (Cantonese version) book of modern and contemporary prose as research object, by CongHua No3. Middle School, coached by respondents in modern and contemporary prose, preparing the situation, the classroom implementation, of course evaluation of questionnaire survey, the author has found:whether teachers or students are unsatisfactory with modern and contemporary prose teaching effect, and even a few teachers think they have never been to a quarter of the modern and contemporary prose satisfaction classes. The author has ever investigated its reasons, mainly in three aspects:teachers, students, textbooks, most teachers are the major reasons. Many teachers still retain the traditional reading teaching way, only focus on their own teaching, the lack of student’s study, in the classroom instruction of only paying attention to knowledge, ignoring the students’ learning activities. Students’ knowledge, passive acceptance of autonomous learning consciousness, they do not form the habit of independent learning. As is known to all, the aim of Chinese teaching is to make the students like Chinese, improve students’ Chinese accomplishment. Therefore, the author thinks that the cultivation of students’ autonomous learning consciousness and habits is modern and contemporary prose teaching the only way out.Autonomous learning is today’s new curriculum concept advocate a way of learning. It is a kind of science teacher is guided. Develop individual learning plans and students’ autonomous learning strategies, independently regulate and control various learning behavior. Thus achieve the default of teaching aims creative learning activities. The author thinks that modern and contemporary prose language, structure easy to understand delicate, profound, and it is very suitable for high school students’ reading and independent emulated. Through constructing modern and contemporary prose autonomous learning mode, for high school students create an independent development learning platform. It can improve high school students’interest in studying Chinese high school students, cultivate the good habit of self-learning and increase students’Chinese accomplishment.The author on the autonomic learning theory and modern and contemporary prose teaching theory, in-depth research on their teaching case reflection, puts forward modern and contemporary prose of constructing autonomous learning mode six links. Exploring modern and contemporary prose autonomous learning mode should pay attention to the problems of implementation and evaluation standard, improve high school Chinese modern and contemporary prose classroom efficiency of providing some feasible suggestions.
