The desire of expansion is one of human nature essential desires. When the human innate desire to be brought to market economy, it is manifested as strong pursuit of enterprise growth, what is the basic organization of the market economy. Enterprise growth, by the one hand, is restricted by the objective economic environment and economic systems and policies; on the other hand, but also by their own ability to decide. According to the research, SEMs’average lifespan is only2.5years in China. Especially in recent years, due to the impact of financial crisis, many enterprises are facing death in the face, enterprises’average life expectancy is further reduced, and so researching the issue of enterprise growth is more and more pressing and realistic. For a long time, the issue of enterprise growth is one of the hot issues in the research of Economics and Management, and also is the practical issue the enterprise managers faced. Researching enterprise growth, the essence is to explore how to enhance the management capacity, how to integrate the resources of human, material and finance, and how to obtain more scarce resources to build and maintain their competitive advantage to achieve sustainable development and sustainable management. In academia, many scholars used a variety of different theories, researched and discussed enterprise growth from different perspective, and draw many useful conclusions. In recent years, with in-depth development of enterprise social capital theory in academia, some scholars start to research and analysis the issue of enterprise growth, research and analysis the relationship between enterprise social capital and enterprise growth, that provides a new perspective and methods for research of enterprise growth.In this paper, we proposed the concept and the measure dimensions of enterprise social capital and enterprise growth based on existing research findings, and through literature review and data compilation, synthesis and analysis the latest research results at home and abroad. We believe that, enterprise social capital refers to an obvious and potential resource collection, what can be controlled and used by the enterprise and its members, and conductive to achieve business goals or to carry out the object activities, embedded in the enterprise social network structure, including enterprise internal social capital and enterprise outside social capital two parts, and its measure dimensions include structural dimension, cognitive dimension, relational dimension and innovation dimension. Enterprise growth refers to the ability that the enterprise from small to large, from weak to strong, to obtain sustainable competitive advantage, and its measure dimensions include human resources dimension, financial dimension, marketing dimension and technology dimension. On this basis, we build a path model of enterprise social capital influence on enterprise growth, and experienced on high-tech SEMs, proposed the four hypothesizes of enterprise social capital influence on enterprise growth. Obtained the required data through questionnaire, empirical tested on enterprise social capital influence on enterprise growth through structural equation path model analysis methods. Our research found that, enterprise social capital influence on enterprise growth primarily through enterprise internal social capital and enterprise outside social capital positively influence on human resources dimension, financial dimension and marketing dimension, technology dimension of enterprise growth respectively. For high-tech SEMs, it mainly reflected the enterprise outside social capital influence on technology dimension of enterprise growth.Finally, this paper summarized the conclusions of this research, given the revelation for high-tech SEMs from enterprise social capital influence on enterprise growth. At last, we referred to the limitations of this research and made a follow-up study of the outlook.
