Six Sigma Management is an improved system method of process, which defines, measures, analyzes improves and controls the corrent process(DMAIC process). Through regarding the DMAIC as the overall framework of the whole quality control and lower its amount of data statistics to make it work, how to combine the Six Sigma Management with the condition of China becomes the question China has to face.Currently, three telecommunications companies set up a three-way struggle. As the old leading company of fixed network, China Telecom faces with challenges, especially in the growing wideband industry. To face up to the disadvantageous situation with China Mobile and CHINAUNICOM, China Telecom has launched MONET to further emancipate the update of the technique of FTTH (the Fiber to the home). In the battle with the other companies, improving the management and enhancing the quality management become the effective ways to win the customers, the competition and the future.Above all, this essay studies and discusses the Six Sigma Management, especially raises up the idea of the Manual Inductive Model which is the update of the Six Sigma Management. Then we apply the Manual Inductive Model to some cases in the telecommunications industry and summarize from the problems we met when using the Six Sigma Management.
