Team, as an effective form of organization in the enterprises, has achieved a significant role in practice, but the Japanese study of "quality management team" has not led the team operation theory to boom until the 1970s. Up to now, all circles of the society have adopted team as their organization form, especially in the field of scientific research. Most of the universities and scientific research institutes have introduced team work pattern. Our practices have provided proves for the great utility value of team work pattern the effective and new organizational form which is effective and new in scientific research innovation and team work pattern has made great contribution to the development of science and the progress of technology. Many famous scholars, both at home and abroad, have respectively conducted extensive and in-depth discussion on team building, management, and evaluation from different perspectives and have gained considerable research achievements, but there still are some inadequacies of these academic harvests in practical application.This thesis selects university subject team as the research object, which mainly because that with the rapid development of science and technology of today, the function of university which is one of the main force of scientific research is increasingly highlighted. Moreover, the effect of individual research pattern for new scientific research findings and significant scientific research progress has been more and vaguer. Therefore, when confronting this kind of situation, university subject team emerges as the times require and raised people’s wide attention. However, as to the present situation of research on university subject team, it still lacks valuable research in the theoretical reference, especially to the subject of performance evaluation team, on which most of the studies have directly applied the performance evaluation theory of enterprise to the performance evaluation of university subject team, which not only ignores the particularity of university subject team but also lacks the value of innovation. This thesis combines the characteristics of university subject group with the evaluating function of balanced scorecard, and refers to the successful application cases of balanced scorecard in enterprise performance evaluation, applies the balanced scorecard to university subject team the special academic organization to realize the discussion of university discipline team from the four dimensions of balanced scorecard. In addition, this thesis also applies a combination of qualitative and quantitative methods, and makes systematic analysis of the factors that affect the performance appraisal of university discipline group, thereby establishes the university discipline team performance evaluation index system. This thesis also uses the analytic hierarchy process of mathematical modeling method to assign the weight of evaluation indexes at all levels, then gives some suggestions for reference, and finally forms a relatively complete and focalized performance evaluation system.
