After getting into twenty first century, foreign funds have deeply getting involved into Chinese infrastructure construction projects. While the scope of these funding keep increasing most of foreign companies are still not familiar with Chinese investment environment, especially on the local culture, Chinese Law, Construction procedure and government supervision. Based on these issues they are dealing with lots of additional problems during the real implement in past years. As one of the typical foreign companies, foreign project management Company is acting as the consult for most of the other foreign investment works in China. In order to help these foreign PM Companies’development in the future it is essential to having some researches based this type of company. The achievement of this dissertation would be can be used as a very useful guidance for selected PM Company in their risk management.Introduced the basis theories of risk management and combined the real situation of foreign PM company, this article researched the foreign PM company risk management in China. The main research can be divided into three parts. Firstly select a typical foreign PM company as research model and do the risk indentification on it. Then based on the risk list the author arrange specialist to analysis and evaluate the risks and achieve the risk importance list. At last article find solutions and suggestions to treat the risks and achieve the risk response list finally. In the risk identification stage, author use the brain storming, Delphi method and risk checklist method to indentify the risks from selected typical PM company in both project and operation level. And in the evaluation stage, author use the questionnaire and integrated assessment method to evaluate the importance the riskes. And finally author to find solutions for all risks and list them as risk response list. It will be very clear and easy to use this risk response list for typical company in real operation. And other companies can find this achievement for reference as the sample of their risk management plan.As a summary of this research, in accordance of a series of foreign project management company research and the limitation for this research, author has raised out couple of suggestions for the existing project management business and further research direction. Hope this article can be used as a guidance for project managers and foreign project management companies.
