With rapid development of the tourist industry and demand for high caliber talents in Guangdong tourist industry increased, tourism vocational education has entered the new stage of increasing the overall competence of students and improving the quality of teacher education. Due to historical reasons, specialized teachers of most secondary vocational students are not graduates of tourism. Although they both have teacher certificates and specialized certificates, they are yet not up to the standard of "Dually-qualified teachers". The said situation could not meet the requirements for specialized teachers under the present vocational education context.
