Mental capacity is the basis of the music aesthetic activities, which involves the mental conscious awareness activities participation, such as hearing, feeling, thinking, memory and other psychological factors should be involved, and also, through the links between them to form the comprehension and awareness of the music. The music comprehension is the key to the music cognition; the music aesthetics cognitive awareness should start from the music comprehension, the music comprehension can be acquired through the music emotional experience and the music body acknowledgement. While, the music cognition should grasp the essential of the music rational sense, between the two requires a reasonable connection, that is, the cognitive process. The music cognition is based on the music aesthetic psychological ability, and the music aesthetic ability always can be acquired from the emotional way, but eventually it is a rational goal-oriented. The mental ability determines the music aesthetic level in the music comprehension and the cognitive process, only through the improvement of the mental ability that can develop the music aesthetic cognitive ability of the aesthetic people, and only through this way that can reflect the meaning and value of the music aesthetic cognition.
