Avian population dynamics reflects multi aspect information of birds, and it plays an important role in the study of birds. Avian population dynamics is influenced by many factors, but this paper only focuses on climate change. The experiment forestry farm of NEFU in Maoer Mountain is chosen as study area. The research data is Data flagged wader birds from spring of1999to autumn of2011. Parus Major is chosen as research object whose data is got from bird banding. The relationship between growth rate or reduction rate of Parus Major population size and climate factors of the corresponding phase is analyzed to find the factor that has the most significant impact on population dynamics of Parus Major. This paper also study the influence of AO index on population dynamics of Parus Major. By analyzing the data of population size of Parus Major, the growth rate is found to be on a declining curve, but the reduction rate is on the rise.l.The most significant climate factor which influences the growth rate of population size of Parus Major is precipitation of July. Path coefficient analysis is conducted using SPSS19.0to find which influences the growth rate most. The climate factors are analyzed separately at the first time and then in unite. After that, the Correlation analysis of relationship between growth rate and climate factors including temperature, precipitation, relative humidity and sunshine duration is conducted. It demonstrates a negative correlation between growth rate and precipitation of July (correlation coefficient=-0.554and p=0.049). It means that if precipitation of July rises, the growth rate would decrease. The rise of precipitation of July would leads to the decrease of feeding time of Parus Major. This would make survival rate of Parus Major reduced, so the growth rate decreases. Some other climate factors including average temperature of September and July, annual precipitation, relative humidity of September and sunshine duration of May also have an influence on the growth rate of Parus Major population size. But the influence is relatively lesser.2.The most significant climate factor which influences the reduction rate of population size of Parus Major is precipitation of February. Path coefficient analysis is conducted using SPSS19.0to find which influences the reduction rate most. The climate factors are analyzed separately at the first time and then in unite. After that, the Correlation analysis of relationship between reduction rate and climate factors including temperature, precipitation, relative humidity and sunshine duration is conducted. It demonstrates a positive correlation between growth rate and precipitation of February (correlation coefficient=0.793and p=0.002). It means that if precipitation of February rises, the reduction rate would rise. The precipitation of February is mainly in the form of snowfall. The rise of precipitation of July would leads to the increase the difficulty of feeding. This would make mortality of Parus Major increase, so the reduction rate would increase. Some other climate factors including average temperature of September, winter and spring of next year, annual prec ipitation, precipitation of December, relative humidity of March next year and sunshine duration of August and December also have an influence on the reduction rate of Parus Major population size. But the influence is relatively lesser.3.The growth rate of Parus Major is mainly correlated to AO index of June. It demonstrates a negative correlation between growth rate and AO index of June (correlation coefficient=-0.653and p=0.015). Besides, AO index of October also has an influence on growth rate which is lesser.4. The reduction rate of Parus Major is mainly correlated to AO index of February next year. It demonstrates a negative correlation between growth rate and AO index of February next year (correlation coefficient=-0.547and p=0.065).5. Through the analysis of the results, In support of the hypothesis verification, The hypothesis of tub or tap hypothesis.
