Nanosized TiO2particles were synthesized using ionic liquid assisted sol-gel method.The samples were characterized by transmission electron microscopy, UV-vis diffusereflectance spectra, X-ray diffraction. It was shown that the phase detectable were mainlyRutile phase with uniform sphericity and the average size was10nm. Along with the rise ofsintering temperature, grain diameter became bigger. The photocatalytic activities wereevaluated by the reduction yield in the presence of CO2and water. The result showed thatTiO2catalysts has efficient photocatalytic activities, of which made with [Omim]BF4displayed the highest photocatalytic activie in the experiment. TiO2Sample was synthesizedwith ionic liquid by the sol-gel methos, and the mesoprous TiO2was synthesized using P123as the template, the Au/TiO2on catalysts were prepared by the deposition-precipitationmethod using ionic liquid. The photocatalytic activities were also evaluated by the reductionyield in the presence of CO2and water.
