Measurement of oil content has a very important role and a very wide range of applications in the oil industry and the breeding work. As the development of technology and needs in production, in order to overcome the shortcomings of the general measuring means of the oil content, it is imperative under the situation to develop the technolody of measurement of oil content with the characters of non-toxic, non-destructive and high-precision.P-NMR which was developed in 60 years of the 20th century is a technolody to acquire the information about the materious by detecting the response which was generated when the atomic nucleus within the samples were effected under the external power. The technology of P-NMR has characters of enough proof in theory、irrelative parameters with macroeconomic factors、stability and clear signals and a better SNR than CW NMR. It could satisfy the acquirement above to develop the measuring technology of oil content which has been a great development based on P-NMR.The paper introduces the principle of P-NMR particularly and the design of A Measuring Apparatus of oil content.The paper expounds the design of the software and hardware in the signal reception and main control part of the device.The system takes the analog receiving channel of the P-NMR signal and data acquisition and processing as its core.First, a superheterodyne reception channel was deigned,which was made up of frequency selective network based on series resonance、low noise preamp、RF Mixer and IF amplifier. Second, C8051F020 MCU was selected as the core control chip to design the modules of A/D acquisition of NMR signal、peak extraction and the hardware and software of other contol modules.At last,the display module of the standard curve for oil content、the results of measurement and the system parameters was designed successfully.It also discussed the maesures to ensure the system reliability from the power supply, circuit design, the device selection and PCB during the design.The instrument is small size, light weight, low cost and simple operation. Experiments show that it has a high measurement precision and speed, and is suitable for fast, non-destructive, accurate measurement of oil content in the oil industry and breeding works.
