Speciation Analysis of Mercury and Arsenic in Aquatic Products

Arsenic , mercury compounds are widespread in nature , and great harm to human health . Arsenic, mercury toxicity of the compounds and their morphology closely related , for the arsenic compound , toxic than inorganic arsenic organic arsenic , arsenic , and an organic group combined with the more smaller , toxicity ; for mercury compounds , organic mercury toxic than inorganic mercury , the alkyl mercury toxicity than aryl mercury toxicity . Morphological analysis in the determination of the toxicity of arsenic , mercury content and evaluation more scientific than the determination of the total amount . Marine organisms can absorb and enrichment of arsenic , mercury compounds , aquatic diet is an important source of human intake of both . Therefore , to establish a simple, rapid , accurate and reliable determination of arsenic in aquatic mercury speciation analysis method is very necessary . In this paper, hydrochloric acid extraction, ultrasonic extraction method to extract mercury compounds in the aquatic , using high performance liquid chromatography - atomic fluorescence spectrometry (HPLC-AFS) and high performance liquid chromatography - inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (HPLC -ICP -MS ) The two hyphenated techniques were analyzed by HPLC. The effects of the concentration of hydrochloric acid , HPLC conditions , standard solution preparation conditions , and other factors , and precision , spiked recovery and determination of reference material to examine the accuracy of the method . Established analysis method , the analytical results of two methods consistent form of mercury in tuna and other aquatic products and more than a dozen provinces and cities nationwide aquatic dietary compounds . This article also uses water - acetic acid extraction , ultrasonic extraction of arsenic compounds in the aquatic extraction combined with HPLC-ICP-MS analysis of determination . Six kinds of pre-treatment methods for arsenic speciation to determine the conditions of high-performance liquid chromatography analysis comparing both atomic fluorescence spectrometry and inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry combined with the applicability of the technology ; using precision spiked recycling investigated the accuracy of the method . Established analytical methods , the determination , the experimental results are satisfactory on the the arsenic speciation compound octopus and other aquatic products and more than a dozen provinces and cities nationwide aquatic diet .
