Study on Deformation and Failure Mechanism and Support Technology of Large Cavern in Mine

The improvement of mine production scale and mechanization provides a large development space for the use of subsurface large chambers.This development tendency leads to an urgent need to an in-depth study about chamber support.In view of the above questions, this paper researches sever problems as follows:1)The problems in the existing mine large underground chambers are obtained through summarizing the use status,supporting mechanisms, and support theories of large section chambers in mine from domestic and overseas.2)According to the influencing factors in deformation and failure mechanisms of surrounding rock of mines’ chambers,the failure mechanism of the roof and sides in large cross section chambers has been analyzed which lays the foundation for the optimization of cross-sectional shapes,support theory and support mechanism below.3)The paper carries on the analysis to the large chamber section classification and selection basis,and the optimization analysis of large chamber section combined with mechanical analysis and numerical simulation analysis with FLAC.3D.4)The large section chamber of bolt and cable support theory,the supporting mechanism and the existing bolt support design method is studied.From theories and numerical simulation,we verify the rationality of the mechanism of anchor cable cut across.5)According to engineering practice of the Guizhou Kailin Maluping mine,the paper conducts the research of large maintenance chamber section design and supporting research,and the results are checked by the numerical simulation software of Flac.3D.
