As the main control component of engineering machinery Multi-way valve has itsown advantage of compact structure, simple connection and could realize independentcontrol to different actuators, so it was widely used in construction machinery. Due to thedevelopment of hydraulic technology is late in our country; the key techniques ofmulti-way valve are grasped by foreign countries such as Germany, the United States andJapan. Because the poor performance of domestic multi-way valve can hardly meetrequirements of customer, it’s necessary to study multi-way valve for domestic technicians.Based on the non-linear parameters of the load sensitive proportional multi-way valve, thispaper carried out theoretical and experimental research about its static and dynamiccharacteristics using dynamic characteristics simulation of hydraulic systems.Relying on the load sensitive proportional multi-way valve produced by a companyin china, this paper complete the following aspects:Firstly, analyze the working principle of proportional multi-way valve and keycomponents such as proportional pressure reducing valve, two-way flow compensator,three-way flow compensator. Research the change law of liquid impedance and flow forceof key components using flow field simulation and theoretical calculation. Calculatethe liquid capacitance, hydraulic line resistance and orifice liquid impedance of thesystem.Secondly, established the Power Bond Graph model and mathematic model inState-space method of the researching object, and the numerical simulation is performed.Aiming at the influence of valve port area gradient, the impact of orifice installed in thecontrol chamber, the influence law of static and dynamic characteristics affected by thedamping hole, the influence law of static and dynamic characteristics affected chattersignal, this paper has carried on the simulation research.Thirdly, based on the multi-function test bed of electric proportional multi-way valve,we built the experimental system about the load sensitive proportional multi-way valve.Aiming at the micro-characteristics, the shock pressure characteristics, experimental studywas done.
