As a key technology in modern aircraft carrier landing guidance system, the wave-off decision system (WODS) of carrier-based airplane has been widely researched and cared. WODS is used to make a wave-off decision automatically instead of landing Commander when the aircraft deviated from ideal decline trajectory. Due to the particularity of the aircraft carrier as an aircraft taking off and landing platform in the development of the aircraft carrier/carrier-based aircraft system, safety is always the most important problem. As the last line of defense to ensure the safety of aircraft carrier and carrier-based aircraft, it has a very important practical significance for the safety of carrier-based aircraft landing.Firstly, the thesis take research on decision support system technology to analyze the structure and design of decision support systems, combined with the analysis of realistic demands for wave-off decision, the system architecture of WODS is designed.According to the research on the knowledge library and its management system of decision support system, the system chose the object-oriented knowledge representation. After detailed analysis of various factors in the procedure of carrier-based aircraft landing and wave-off, we established quantitative indicators of wave-off and wave-off rules based on these indicators.On the basis of a comprehensive study of the model library and its management system of decision support system, the system design is proposed which using data stored and subroutine dynamically-generated model of the state of things matching solution and is combined with specific examples of the system model. According to the simplified carrier-based aircraft dynamics models and the requirements of wave-off rule, we established the aircraft’s wave-off envelope and simulation. We analyzed the effect of glide path angle and deck wind on carrier-based airplane capability and got the conclusions that a practical wave-off envelope must take into account the alterations of glide path angle and deck wind. In order to avoid the unnecessary wave-off, the alarm zone model was established.At last, according to the actual work process of carrier-based aircraft, a complete program about wave-off decision system of carrier-based aircraft has been designed. The simulation results show that the system can be put into practice.
