PBL(Problem-based learning) is a kind of new teaching methods, which has been widely used in various teaching fields of disciplines and received good effects. Base on teaching practice, this thesis introduces PBL into programming instructions. Taking an object-oriented program design course (Programming in C++) as example, this thesis discusses the instructional design, implemention and the teaching effect analysis of PBL in programming teaching.PBL is a kind of learning method which emphasizes active inquiry and innovation practice. It put learning Settings to relevant background and meaningful problem situation. In the process of letting learners organize team, working together to solve the problems of the real world, studying implied problems behind knowledge, students who acquire knowledge, make use of knowledge, solve the problems in learning process are under the guidance of teachers,which can help analysis the ability of problem -solving. Firstly, this thesis discusses the theoretical basis of PBL teaching mode, summarizes the present situation of the development of PBL and introduces the basic theory of PBL,including the origin of PBL and the present development situation, the connotation and characteristics of PBL and its basic theory of PBL about the related theory. Secondly, this thesis applies in C + + courses to improve the ability to solve practical problems, promotes the students’ability of high-order thinking ability, improves learning ability students’ autonomous learning and cooperative. This thesis mainly studies the content as follows.By analyzing teaching goal, the character of students and teaching content, the thesis devised instructional design scheme for programming courses. The main research contents embodied in the following aspects:the course teaching mode, teaching process, class peroid distribution, teaching organization, learning evaluation etc. On this basis, several teaching cases are devised according to the requirement of PBL. The teaching implementation steps and essential factor analysis are described in detail. The teaching process pays great attention to the learning environment, the learning activity, the appraisal strategy, the counselling strategy design. In view of learning activity design, unifies the PBL teaching process, separately moved to the teacher activity and the student has carried on the exhaustive design.Experiments shows that PBL teaching model can not only cultivate the students’ information literacy, but also improve the students’ learning skills, the interest of learning, communication, the ability of discovery and problem solving.
