Because of the network resources growth disordered and user’s resource utilization overload burden, the Discipline Navigation was established to meet user’s requirement of Internet academic information resources. Through integrating the relevant academic resources, the Discipline Navigation provides the effective organization, network resources for academic users in valuable browsing, searching and navigating, etc. Under the Web2.0 network environment, user’s demand as the core concept embodies the product under the user’s participation, alternation, personalized features. At present situation, the development of the Discipline Navigation requiring the Discipline Navigation based on customer’s demand, concept, the user’s interactivity, all kinds of advanced technology application etc, also needs to be improved. Through the current university library user’s demand investigation and analysis surveies, this paper accesses to current university academic user’s demand and the Discipline Navigation problems existing in construction. It proposes user’s demand as the core concept into the construction of the Discipline Navigation, emphasizing the sustainable development of the future. Based on the related research theorical and practical results, This paper points out that the user’s demand oriented construction and user’s participation will be the future trend of sustainable development of Discipline Navigation. This paper tries to take user’s demand oriented service concept into the construction of the Discipline Navigation. It emphasizes the development of Discipline Navigation should change the traditional service system and release the one-way construction, advocating the user participation development ideas. The Discipline Navigation will fully embodies the user’s involvement and interactivity to promote the effective utilization of the resources with user altogether construction.
