In order to effectively relieve urban traffic congestion, bus priority strategy was actively carried out and Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) was strongly promoted in more and more domestic and overseas cities. Nonetheless, the major focus in this area should be how to increase the output ratio of BRT and achieve optimal value in transportation on condition that urban public transport should be oriented to the pursuit of social benefits and must take into account economic interests for public transport companies. Therefore, the thesis did research on the comprehensive evaluation for the BRT.Firstly, on the basis of BRT’s characteristics and evaluation technology of urban public transport at home and abroad, the thesis synthesise utilized the Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP) carrying on scientific quantitative and qualitative analysis and data mining of association rules, and established a set of the evaluation index system with high reliability including technical perfermance, passenger satisfaction, economic return, social context influence and developing strategy for the comprehensive evaluation of BRT according to the view of accordance in government, passengers and bus companies.Secondly, with the combination of the view of multiverse in quantum theory and the BRT’s complex, dynamic, and random characteristic, a model for BRT comprehensive evaluation was established based on quantum neural network(QNN) and the results in practical BRT using the BP neural network, qubit neural network, and QNN showed its effectiveness and applicability.After that, take BRT line as the major object of research, its spatial feature is employed to establish the space analysis model of the travel information for BRT vehicles. By using travel information collected by GPS vehicle location system and travel time, speed, direction and location information as characteristic parameter to analyse the speed, delays, and conditions information of vehicles on different bus lines, such as ordinary bus lines, quasi-BRT lines, BRT line1and line2to evaluate the BRT driving conditions.Finally, the proposed comprehensive evaluation and spatial analysis model were put into use to develop a B/S-style system to evaluate Hangzhou BRT to verify their effectiveness. By evaluation, the main problems and operational level of the BRT were found, and suggestions and policy-making basis in the development of the BRT for the government and competent authorities of transport and communications were put forward.
