Research on Problems of Musical Education in Common Normal Colleges

The training objectives of the normal colleges are to adhere to serving basic education. At present, the basic education curriculum reform has made historic breakthrough. Primary and secondary school curricula in terms of quality have been a fundamental leap forward. Facing with the rolling reform wave of basic education, the music education professionals in the normal colleges must think of a new study project, that is, how to train some qualified normal college graduates who can meet the demands of the basic Music Education in the existing education philosophy and the framework.In the thesis, the author analyzes the exiting problems of our present normal colleges’music education and lists the possible solutions to them on the basis of the common normal colleges’education. In order to draw some good lessons from the other countries, the author introduces the music education in France, the United States and other countries. The thesis aims at providing new ideas and ways for Chinese normal colleges’music education reform and development by analyzing the existing problems of musical education in Chinese normal universities, which attempts to resolve the current defects of the music education teaching model in Chinese normal colleges, provides possible solutions to the defects, seeks for some teaching strategies to enhance normal music education, provides development direction and the theoretical basis for the current music education and teaching reform in normal colleges, and promotes a comprehensive reform of music education and teaching. As a result, music teaching education in colleges and universities can achieve modernization and scientific development which has far-reaching theoretical and practical significance.
