With the continuous development of gas-steam combined cycle turbine technology andnew gas turbine combined cycle power plants have been built more and more, the powerstation energy-saving improvements can give us both considerable economic benefits, butalso made some positive contributions to social progress and environmental improvement.Today there are lots of power generation froms,and the gas-steam combined cycle turbinestation as the clean power generation form was growing up generally in the domestic.Especially the9F Class gas turbine power stations have been built widely in china.Mitsubishi M701F gas turbine as representatives of9F units was intruducted todomestic in2004. In the beginning, there are three M701F gas turbine plants, its HuizhouLNG power plant,Qianwan LNG power plant and Shenzhen eastern LNG power plant. theMitsubishi M701F gas turbine has its own structure characteristics and operatingperformances, also it’s feed water pump control methord.This paper discusses the energy-saving methods of the gas-steam combined cycle powerplant and gives the proper design and study about the control methords in feedwater pumpvariable frequency project from Heat Recover Steam Generator’s energy saving projects.According to the feasibility analysis of the variable frequency renovation project, it as muchas possible to find out the energy-saving potential and it also makes sure that the unit’soperating safty.The M701F water supply inverter optimized control of the combined cycleunit, verification and improvement in the actual operation. By running the test, theconsiderable economic benefits to the pump frequency transformation can save a tremendousamount of auxiliary power, capital investment cost of the renovation project as soon aspossible to recover.The control methord of feed water pump frequency renovation is different from the usualforms, we can get a better control effect in this way. This paper also offers a good referencevalue for the feed water frequency transformation of optimal control to the same type of gasturbine combined cycle unit.
