As in recent years, high coal prices and controlled gradual tariff reduction, effectivedomestic coal-fired power plants are generally subject to greater impact, increasing operatingpressure. the largest Proportion of total operating costs in the plant is coal costs, so reducingthe cost of coal has become an important aspect of domestic coal-fired power plants to controlcosts. To achieve this goal, the country has seen a lower portion of the purchase cost of thepower plant in Indonesia coal blending, But the Indonesian coal blended with the originaldesign coal boilers often are far away, so fueled with relatively poor Indonesian coal to powerplants will also bring economic benefits brought about a corresponding variety of negativeeffects, For example: furnace coke situation intensifies, pulverizing a corresponding increasein energy consumption, reduce unit efficiency. To solve these problems, the current majorissues facing the country is how the plant to determine the optimal blending ratio of coal toensure the unit is safe, stable and economical.This study is to address the problem of a300MW coal-fired power plant in Guangzhou,blended with Indonesian coal fired boiler project as an object, Carried out including theselection, coal laboratory analysis of coal, boiler adaptive test subjects and basic adjustment,test firing test methods and procedures, and test milling system by the maximum output, coalfineness measurement, wind speed measurement, carbon monoxide content, fire, furnacetemperature and coking conditions, gravel coal emissions, fuel large slag and fly ash, flue gastemperature air preheater and export, exhaust oxygen, nitrogen oxides and sulfur dioxideemissions, the boiler thermal efficiency, auxiliary electrical energy consumption and otheraspects listed a large number of measured data, Through statistical data collation, researchtrends, and itemized analyzed.Through extensive field testing, data collection and statistical analysis, the results for thetest data and trends, from the security, economy, environmental protection, and other aspectsof adaptation of Blended Coals were analyzed, Compared the pros and cons of differentconditions in terms of security, economy, environmental protection, adaptability, and analyzesthe reasons. On the operating characteristics of Indonesian coal combustion were morein-depth research on various Indonesian coal testing, long-term stability of the unit provides amore accurate basis for burning. But also through the study of the test results, the economictest unit was evaluated and eventually obtained the best way suitable for blending plant.
