Millet is the main crops in Shanxi Province, and its nutritional value is very high. With the implementation of the adjustment of agricultural structure and small grains planting strategy, promote the large-scale production of millet. In order to improve the labor productivity, realizing mechanization production, it is important to design and development the millet threshing machinery for Shanxi Province.5TG-3millet thresher made in Institute of technology, Shanxi Agricultural, to meet the actual needs of threshing. But what we used the beat rubbing threshing device since it’s bats rubbing member reciprocates in working will have a greater vibration, affecting the millet threshing quality and performance of the thresher. Therefore, by virtual instrument technology, performance indexes of millet thresh device were tested. The main results were as follows:The main parameters of threshing effect of5TG-3millet threshing device were determined, completed the design and research for performance test system of millet thresh device.(1)Research on performance parameters and measurement methods of thresh deviceIntroduced the main performance parameters of millet thresh device, analyzed and discussed the influence of dynamic performance parameters (torque, rotational speed and power)and the vibration performance parameters and performance parameters(crushing rate and cladding rate) on millet thresh device, the performance parameters of performance testing system for5TG-3millet thresher.(2)Based on virtual instrument platform, set up a performance testing systemAccording to the requirements of performance test on millet thresh device, based on virtual instrument technology as a platform, the performance test system of millet thresh device was designed. The system completed the performance index of collection, transmission, conversion and real-time display. In addition, according to testing purpose, the data processing system was designed, completed on vibration performance parameters of the data preprocessing, time domain analysis, frepuency domain analysis and time-frequency analysis. (3) Experimental studySystem test showed that the performance parameters were consistent with the results of the actual manual measurement, the parameters of torque, rotational speed and power were consistent with the results of use of traditional measuring instruments. Data processing for vibration signal (time domain analysis, frequency domain analysis, STFT analysis and wavelet analysis) to get the vibration frequency and amplitude of the thresh device, and the thresh device do the analysis of device fault diagnosis to verify the failure in work. The research results show the detection system to achieve the purpose of the intended design
