Theory analysis is the base, and case analysis is the main part of the paper.Firstly, the paper carries on the theory analysis. The theories include business process reengineering theory, credit business process reengineering theory and value chain theory. Base on the mutual relation of business process reengineering, corporation value target and value chain, the paper constructs a theory frame of credit business process reengineering in view of value chain. According as the target of credit business process reengineering, the paper distinguishes the core process and the minor process from the whole credit business processes. the core process is very useful to achieve the target, while the minor process is very useless to credit business. The former must be strengthened, the latter must be reduced. The above theory analysis offers both theory base and study method to the following case analysis.And then, the paper studies about the theory analysis. The actuality is meticulously analyzed about credit business process reengineering in BJXW Sub-branch of Agricultural Bank. The main limitations are discovered, for example, less facing customer demand, lacking efficiency, and inadequate risk control. So as to give up the main limitations, the paper brings forward the target of credit business process reengineering, determines the path of process reengineering, and progresses the systemic process reengineering. Because the scale is huge about Agricultural Bank of China, it isn’t verified whether the new credit business process is beneficial to the innovative development of credit business in the whole Agricultural Bank of China.
