Objective To study the relationship in the Essential Hypertension (EH)patients of ambulatory blood pressure monitoring index with leftventricular hypertrophy (LVH), to provide a basis for clinical decisionand treatment. Methods Collecting Ningxia Medical University hospital affiliated90patients with heart medicine, divided into Essential Hypertension group(n=60) and the control group (n=30), line echocardiography, accordingto the left ventricular weight index (LVMI), EH patients will have leftventricular hypertrophy be divided into EH with LVH group(n=37) andEH without LVH group (n=23), all the cases do24-hour ambulatory bloodpressure monitoring (ABPM), compare blood pressure, blood pressurevariation, blood pressure variation coefficient, pulse pressure, nighttime blood pressure decrease rate, blood pressure load and LVMIin three groups of the difference between, research and analysis thedynamic blood pressure parameters and LVMI relevance.Results1. The mean differences between the comparison of the threegroups: systolic blood pressure and night diastolic blood pressure, systolic blood pressure load and LVMI, EH with LVH group is higher thanEH without LVH group, EH without LVH group is higher than those in thecontrol group;24hours and daytime diastolic blood pressure and pulsepressure,24hours diastolic blood pressure variability, diastolicblood pressure load, EH with LVH group and EH without LVH group are higherthan the control group, but the difference between EH with LVH group and EH without LVH group hasn’t statistically significant; Day andnight diastolic blood pressure variation, pulse pressure in the night, only EH with LVH group is higher than those in the control group, differences of the other two groups haven’t statistically significant;differences of gender, age, blood pressure variable coefficient andnight blood pressure decrease rate haven’t statistically significant.2. The correlation between LVMI and systolic blood pressure, diastolicblood pressure, pulse pressure, blood pressure variation, nighttimeblood pressure load are positive association. The correlation betweenLVMI and nighttime blood pressure decrease rate is negative correlation(but the correlation is quite low), and age, blood pressure variationcoefficient is not relevant. Conclusion Dynamic blood pressure monitoring index in the EssentialHypertension and left ventricular hypertrophy have close relations, LVHand dynamic blood pressure level, pulse pressure, blood pressurevariability and blood pressure load in the night are positivelyassociated,The correlation between LVMI and nighttime blood pressuredecrease rate is negative correlation.
