Objective:Through the investigation to understand the basic situation of patients with type II diabetes in community in Beijing. Use the European five-dimensional health scale (EQ-5d) and Adjusted Diabetes Quality of Life Measure (A-DQOL) in assessment of the effect of the health-related quality of life of patients, then use the method of statistics to analysis the distribution of health related quality of life patients with type II diabetes and explore the related factors of quality of life. To provide the reference for conducting more comprehensive and more targeted intervention in the community in the future. Methods:This study is the cross-sectional study. The research data are from "the study of China’s diabetes drug economics ". To determine the object of study according of all criteria,516cases are chosen. Quality of life index are the measurement of EQ-5d and A-DQOL. To analysis the quality of life of patients with type II diabetes in subgroup according to the different demographic features, health behavior and health status after data are edited. Logistic regression and Tobit model respectively were used to compare the two scales of assessment results and analyze the impact factors of quality of life.Results:1. The measurement of the quality of life, there are more problem found in the pain or discomfort (42.44%) and anxiety or depression (25.58%) of study on EQ-5d five health dimension problems analysis. EQ-5d health index (EQ-index) averages0.847, DQOL the mean score is92.09. Different population characteristics in the comparison, the female patients were more likely to feel anxious; The group of More than60has lower quality of life; The group of patients with higher college degree have higher quality of life; the QOL declines with the increasing of the number of chronic diseases, which merge0or1kind of chronic disease patients life quality is better than the merger of three or more patients; With the increase in the right amount of exercise, exercise can improve the life quality of patients.2. To analysis respectively all dimensions of EQ-5d problem situation of impact factors.(1) mobility:age, exercise (protection factor) and chronic diseases combined;(2) Self-care dimensions:age and drinking;(3) usual activities:age, exercise situation;(4) Pain or discomfort:age, smoking status, and chronic diseases;(5) Anxiety or depression dimensions: gender, age and chronic diseases combined. Using Tobit model to explore the affecting factors of EQ-index for screening:age, education level, employment, training and chronic diseases combined.Conclusions:1. The QOL of patients with type II diabetes declined Commonly. The curative effect evaluation of patients with type II diabetes should not only consider the objective index, but also should pay more attention to the change of patient’s mental, psychological and social function.2.
