Name: Ma Zhenjian Major: Surgery Directed by:Jiang zhongmin(Professor)Background and Objectives: The axillary incision assisted thoracic surgery (VAMT)comparative study of axillary incision (SMT) and video-assisted thoracoscopicsurgery (VATS) in the treatment of spontaneous pneumothorax. Methods: A retrospective analysis of the period from June2007to March2011in ourhospital patients with spontaneous pneumothorax. Screening using video-assistedthoracoscopic the auxiliary the axillary incisions (VAMT) treatment of the SP cases of48cases, axillary incision (SMT) in the treatment of the SP cases of41cases, thetreatment of the SP cases of39examples of the use of video-assisted thoracoscopy(VATS), a total of128cases divided into VAMT group, SMT group and the VATSgroup. Three groups were compared incision length, operative time, blood loss, postoperative drainage time, postoperative drainage, postoperative pain, patient costof surgery and postoperative complications and other indicators. Results: SMT compared with VAMT incision length, operative time, blood loss, postoperative drainage tube time, postoperative drainage, postoperative hospital stay, there are significant differences in the cost of surgery was significantly difference. The SMT group with the VATS group comparison, the length of the incision, operative time, blood loss, postoperative drainage tube time, postoperative drainage, postoperative hospital stay, cost of surgery there are significant differences. TheVAMT VATS compare the incision length, operative time, blood loss, postoperativedrainage tube time, postoperative drainage, postoperative hospital stay was notstatistically significant, the cost of surgery there are statistically significant. Threegroups was not statistically significant in terms of complications and pain assessment. Conclusion: comparison of three surgical SMT VAMT and VATS:SMT compared with VAMT incision length, operative time, blood loss, postoperativedrainage tube time, postoperative drainage, postoperative hospital stay, there aresignificant differences in the cost of surgery was significantly difference. The SMTgroup with the VATS group comparison, the length of the incision, operative time, blood loss, postoperative drainage tube time, postoperative drainage, postoperativehospital stay, cost of surgery there are significant differences. The VAMT VATScompare the incision length, operative time, blood loss, postoperative drainage tubetime, postoperative drainage, postoperative hospital stay was not statisticallysignificant, the cost of surgery there are statistically significant. Three groups was notstatistically significant in terms of complications and pain assessment.
