Expression and Clinical Significance of CD147、MIF and Plk1in Non-small Cell Lung Cancer

Objective:To investigate the expression and clinical significance of CD147MIF and PLK1in non-small-cell lung cancer for the reference of clinical diagnosis、clinical stage and Prognosis estimation.Method:According to WHO classification, surgically resected and pathological confirmed specimens from86cases of non-small cell lung cancer, and20cases of adjacent normal lung tissue (located at least10cm away from the tumor margin) were collected from Shang hai Yodak Cardio-Thoracic Hospital and fu dan Clinical Pathology Diagnosis Center. All the patients received neither radiocherapy nor chemocherapy before the surgery, immunohistochemistry S-P method was used to detect expressions of CD147、MIF、 PLK1in NSCLC tumors and adjacent normal lung tissues. All the results were statistically analyzed with SPSS13.0software package.Result:(1) The expression of CD147protein in NSCLC was63.95%(55/86), which was much higher than5%(1/20) in normal lung tissue,(P<0.05). The Positive rates of CD147in group of lymph node metastasis were higher than that in group without lymph node metastasis (P<0.05). Compared With the protein levels ofCD147in lung cancer tissues of Ⅰ and Ⅱ stage, there was markedly increased in Ⅲ stage(P<0.05)。the protein expression ofCD147was significantly correlated with lymph node metastasis and clinical stages, but not with gender,ages cell differentiation and histological classfication.(2) The expression of MIF protein in NSCLC was80.23%(69/86), which was much higher than15%(3/20) in normal lung tissue,(P<0.05). The Positive rates of CD147in group of lymph node metastasis were higher than that in group without lymph node metastasis (P<0.05). Compared With the protein levels ofCD147in lung cancer tissues of Ⅰ and II stage, there was markedly increased in Ⅲ stage(P<0.05)。 the protein expression ofCD147was significantly correlated with lymph node metastasis and clinical stages, but not with gender,ages cell differentiation and histological classification.(3) The expression ofPLK1protein in NSCLC was76.74%(66/86), which was much higher than5%(1/20) in normal lung tissue,(P<0.05). The Positive rates of CD147in group of lymph node metastasis were higher than that in group without lymph node metastasis (P<0.05). Compared With the protein levels ofCD147in lung cancer tissues of Ⅰ and Ⅱ stage, there was markedly increased in Ⅲ stage(P<0.05).the protein expression ofCD147was significantly correlated with lymph node metastasis and clinical stages, but not with gender,ages cell differentiation and histological classfication.(4) Using Spearman correlation test to analyze the correlation among CD147, MIF and PLK1expression in NSCLC tissue.CD147and MIF, CD147and PLK1, MIF and PLK1expression in NSCLC tissues showed positive correlation. They are statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion:1.Expressions of CD147、MIF and PLK1in non-small cell lung cancer tissues were significantly higher than in adjacent normal lung tissues. The expression of CD147, MIF and PLK1were significantly correlated with lymph node metastasis and clinical stages, while not correlated with gender,ages cell differentiation and histological classification.2.CD147and MIF correlated to PLK1positively, MIF correlated to PLK1positively。 Combinational examination of cd147, MIF and PLK1may have a collaborative or mutual regulation role in the process of occurrence and development in the non-small cell lung cancer.3. Combinational detection of cd147, MIF and PLKI may have great importance in tumorigenesis and developent of NSCLC, and could help in the early diagnosis,metastasis estimate,prognosis and staging of the non-small cell lung cancer.
