Performance art, is a modern art form emerged in Europe in the50s~60s of the twentiethCentury.It breaks through the limitations of previous creative artists of various static art form,through this direct and instant creative form,to find out a more close to the audience way inthe aesthetic view and spirit aspects,and try this direct create a new artistic language.Formation and development of western behavior enlightened from the three pioneerenlightenment of Futurism Of Europe, Dadaism and Surrealism in twentieth Century andinfluenced by culture of post-modernism.Chinese action art started at a new wave period, the of1985s,the artists have no much themanifestation mode, instead of the works of creation all copy ready-made western behaviorart works, there is no unique innovation.The premise of the germination of performance artall by the rapid development of economy, science and technology and the foreign new artstyle and become development.The past pattern of manifestation of art have been unable tocontent people’s aesthetic needs now, so they chose a unique creation mode to explain andconvey their feelings and ideas.This paper aims at Chinese contemporary aesthetic perspective of the development of thebehavioral art、the value of existence、the aesthetic characteristics and future developmentdirection to understanding and analysis, stating that the aesthetic value and significance ofperformance art in human society.
