At present, the demand of middle and small synchronous brushless motors has a tendency to increase, and hysteresis motor has win the good graces of the equipments that requirement precise speed and constant starting torque during working. Hysteresis motor, as a type of AC synchronous brushless motor, works by the torque produced by the hysteresis materials. Hysteresis motor has the characteristics of simple structure, self-starting, constant speed, reliable operation, small startup current and little noise etc, so it has play an irreplaceable role in the field of industrial production.This study takes hysteresis motor as research object, and mainly studies the hysteresis material’s magnetic hysteresis loop fitting of hysteresis motor. Aiming at the existing problem of current fitting methods, this paper proposes a Prandtl-Ishlinskii model to fit the hysteresis loop of hysteresis material, and finds out the equivalent electric of Prandtl-Ishlinskii model magnetic motor through analyzing and deducing. In total, the main research works as following:1. Aiming at the problem of magnetic hysteresis loop fitting in the hysteresis motor mathematical model, we deduce and compare the most three of common magnetic hysteresis loop fitting model:the parallelogram model, the elliptical model and the Preisach model, and analyze the advantages and disadvantages of each model.2. This study deduces an improved Prandtl-Ishlinskii model in detail, designs experiment to prove the effect of the Prandtl-Ishlinskii model’s fitting. Through the comparison of hysteresis loop between the test of silicon steel sheet and the fitting under the Prandtl-Ishlinskii model, the results show that the fitting error under the Prandtl-Ishlinskii model is less than 1%, and thus which can be used to analyze magnetic hysteresis loop. The feature of reversible in data processing makes the Prandtl-Ishlinskii model more practical valuable.3. Through a series of hypothesis and the approximate, we analyze hysteresis motor under the Prandtl-Ishlinskii model, and give out the approach to calculate the torque and equivalent magnetic circuit of hysteresis motor. At last, the simulation of hysteresis motor’s magnetic potential and flux space distribution is tried out. which ensures the further study of hysteresis motor.
