This study deals with the body signification in counseling situations. This paper introducesthe subject of the study first by thoroughly reviewing the publication about the bodysignification based on the academic background of the body signification before giving adefinitive explanation to the body signification.And based on the discussion on the symbolic of the body signification,and its ubiquitouspresence and meaning were made a further discussion, this part elucidates the symbolic ofbody signification, and the importance of the body signification as symbols is realized ineveryday life. Further, the paper deals with the body signification in interpersonal situationsmulti-dimensionally. The body signification is expounded from expression and interpretation,motivation and non-motivation, language and non-verbal.The focus of this research is the body signification in counseling situations and its impacton counseling effect. Firstly, the existence and expansion of forms, special significance incounseling, relationship with counseling effect are investigated. Secondly, this part deals withthe impact of the body signification on counseling effect. It analyzes the body significationfirst, and then the effect is expounded from interpretation consultant for visitors, visitorsinterpretation of consultants and interaction between the two sides.In conclude that, counselors careful observation and correct interpretation of the bodysignification have a positive impact on counseling effect, simultaneously, the guidance andadvices were presented to counselors for consulting work, in order to facilitate the expansionof consultation exercise.This paper concludes with a summary of difficulties and thinking encountered with thehope to further improve this research.
