As the terminal weapon platform of digital information battlefield,the soldier system’s structures are very complex,and its design process involves much professional knowledge. In order to realize reuse and management of designknowledge, to improve the efficiency of design,a kind of project aided design system for the soldier system is needed. This paper take the application of design knowledge as the research object, and analyze different kinds of design knowledge which mainly include three aspects of the function design, selection of configuration design and information system modeling of soldier system,and research and develop the project aided design method based on knowledge.Finally,the project aided design system of soldier systemwasestablished on the idea of KBE. Specific completed the research tasksare as follows.(1)Studying axiomatic design method, the mapping model and calculation method of the amount of information is improved, the functions(performance)-structure system of soldier system is analyzed by using the new mapping model and calculation method. These work provided the corresponding theoretical basis for establishing the aided function design module of soldier system.(2)With the improved model of axiomatic design theory, a function aided design methodof soldier system based on knowledge template was proposes. The function aided design module’s overall structure, the establish method of the knowledge templateand design knowledge base. And theknowledge template and functional design knowledge base of solider system were finally established.(3)A configuration design method basedon CBR was studied.For the deficiency of previous case reasoning technology, therelevant methods of extension theory were applied in the instances’ expression and reasoning.From the view of system configuration,the calculation method of interface correlation was introduced, and the merits of the configuration scheme can be confirmed with the instances’similarity and interface correlation. At the same time, formaking the layout designof the solider system parameterized,the parameters in layout design of solider system of are analyzed.(4)A kind of aided construction method of solider system’s information system model based on information template was proposed. The informationtype and flow direction in the information system of solider system were analyzed, and information template and information rule basewere established.With these work, the aided design module for the solider system’s information system model was finally established.(5)On the basis of previous work, the overall structure of the aided design system of the solider system was analyzed, and some aided design module were developed. At the same time,in order to realize the management of design process,a kind of design process management tool for the system was developed, and effectively improved the efficiency of the solider system’s project design.
