The most fundamental problems, the biggest challenge, and the biggest criticismwhich the curriculum reform in the aspect of classroom has suffered is theinefficiencies of the class. So we consider effectiveness is the key to the success ofthe curriculum reform. Whether the curriculum reform can carry out in the class or notgreatly depends on the effectiveness of the classroom.So far, the research on effective teaching at home and abroad mainlyconcentrates upon two aspects, one is the definition of the concept of effectiveteaching, the other is the strategy research of effective teaching.But there is littleresearch on the effective teaching of specific subject. Morality and social as a wholenew course, thus the study of its effectiveness of classroom teaching is even less.Thestudy on the effectiveness of morality and social classroom teaching is conducive tothe successful implementation of the new course.The study can improve theeffectiveness of moral education in school, and can “improve students’ capability ofmoral judgment and behavior selection, and advance students’ ability of adapting tosociety initiatively and participating social activities actively."The great change of nature, location and textbook of morality and social coursesbrought a new challenge to the teachers. In the implementation of the courses, theyfaced unprecedented challenges and a lot of problems. On the basis of investigationand analysis of ZhuZhou30primary school classroom teaching combined with a largenumber of lectures, seminars, discussions and extensive the front-line teachers’feedback gives us a result that morality and social lessons is a weak curriculum atschool which is not being taken seriously. And they did not pay much attention to theunderstanding of the substance of the curriculum, teaching arrangements, the level ofthe teachers, teaching resource allocation. The various reasons make inefficient andineffective moral and social classroom teaching which performs as the weak sense ofdiscipline, unclear goals of teaching, teaching content generalization, inappropriateteaching methods, and the lack of evaluation.In connection with these problems and current situation, correspondingcountermeasure and suggestion have been put forward so as to strengthen themanagement of the program, ensure enough school hours and necessary teachingresources; They also can reinforce teachers construction of moral courses, concepts changing, attitudes and roles-playing changing, improve disciplines professionalism;Aim to classroom teaching, it is necessary to carry out philosophy of the lesson,understand and master the spirit of the curriculum standards and we also mustcompletely put them into effect in the classroom teaching and the course objectivescomprehensively, reflect the characteristics and value of the course, contact with lifeclosely, improve the teaching level, organize teaching activities effectively, improvethe quality of activities in order to improve the effectiveness of classroom teaching ofmorality and social lessons. Meanwhile, evaluation methods should also be improved.The efficiency of the moral classroom teaching can be upgraded by straightenstudents’ academic performance and moral evaluation of classroom teaching.Ultimately, we can improve the effectiveness of moral education, develop goodcitizen quality, innovative spirit and practical ability to achieve social development.
