With the advance and development of the Internet of things, the RFID(Radio Frequency Identification) and Wireless Sensor Network technology hasreceived more and more widely used. RFID mainly identify the existence of anobject and identity. Its mainly communication features include single jump,one-to-many and master-slave relationship. The function of card reader istransmitting date to the PC through serial port in traditional RFID system. But inthe condition of multi-point information acquisition, it wastes resources. Whilethe multi-hop function of ZigBee network can realize a wide range of datatransmission of information, which can make up the deficiency of the RFIDsystem applied to multi-point sampling.This article analyzes the principles of RFID radio frequency identificationsystem, ZigBee coordinator and ZigBee terminal nodes networking process andthe key technology of RFID and the ZigBee to realize communication, we designa scheme to realize RFID and ZigBee communication each other.In this thesis, through comparing the advantages and disadvantages ofdifferent wireless RF module, from the aspects of power consumption, prices, andapplications, the thesis choose CC2430as the radio frequency chip, and designthe application of the chip circuit, power supply voltage conversion circuit design,etc. Through the test, it can realize the coordinator and the child nodes of thenormal communication each other.This topic designes the software of card reader and the communicationinterface softeware between RFID card reader and ZigBee wireless module,which can realize the card reader reading the electronic tag information, using theinterface software to identify electronic encapsulation, packeting the labelinformation and senting to ZigBee terminal node. Terminal node through the ZigBee wireless network send the packet to the ZigBee coordinator and thecoordinator through a serial port sending the packet to the upper machine, the PCsoftware parses the packet and extracts the electronic tag information, anddisplays it in the PC interface. the design realizes the communication between theRFID module and ZigBee modul, reach the designed purpose.
