With the development of modern information technology, satellite navigationtechnology has been widely applied to people’s life. The diversity navigation applicationenvironment require GNSS navigation receiver with high-performance, such as highsensitivity high dynamic and multi-constellation compatible and so on. High sensitivity isan important indicator for GNSS software receiver, which reflects GNSS softwarereceiver’s capabilities for the weak satellite signal processing. In this paper, we studyindoor weak signal characteristics and proposed an improved circular correlationalgorithm base on best estimate of the navigation data combinations. By simulatio n, weverified the detection capability of the method for indoor weak signal acquisition andpropose some suggestions and methods for indoor weak signal acquisition.This thesis first introduce the signal structure of Global Positioning System,clarifies the signal characteristics of indoor weak signal and study three kinds ofacquisition algorithms on GNSS software receiver. The thesis then analyzes commonintegration technology and two kinds of indoor weak signal acquisition algorithms. Onthis basic, the thesis proposes an improved indoor weak signal acquisition algorithm.Since Cross-correlation interference resulted from strong signal, the thesis also researchesthe cross-correlation interference mitigation algorithm. Finally, the thesis proposed animproved fine frequency estimation algorithm for strong signal reconstructed.The thesis works on the simulation and verification for the weak GNSS signalsacquisition we proposed. In order to give a theoretical analysis and practicalenvironmental analysis, we produce GNSS IF signal either from experimental simulationor actual navigation satellite signal. The simulation program gives the acquisition results and acquisition probability curve under difference C/N0, The results show that theacquisition method this thesis presented can effectively acquisition GNSS indoor weaksignal.
