Augmented reality is a hot research topic nowadays. It obtained the rapid development in recent years and applied to the fields, showing a strong research value and application value. Augmented reality technology is mainly divided into based on the specific marker of augmented reality and marker-less augmented reality technology (based on the nature feature of augmented reality).Augmented reality based on the specific marker development special identification mature, but due to their own limitations, there are many restrictions in applications. marker-less augmented reality technology overcomes the limitations of based on specific identity, so it is more widely used. In this paper, we study the E-book system of marker-less augmented reality is to overcome the limitations of augmented reality based on specific marker can only be made for special books. So that we can apply the augmented reality to the ordinary books, make the augmented reality more widely.This thesis focuses on E-book system of marker-less augmented reality, studied the technology of image recognition based on nature feature. Research the commonly algorithm that used to detection and extract natural feature point and by experimental data analysis to chosen the ORB algorithm to do E-book system of marker-less augmented reality image feature detection work, and using RANSAC algorithm to get rid of the wrong matching and recognition of book image. In addition, this thesis also studied some about E-book system of marker-less augmented reality like natural features3D registration technology and virtual information fusion technology.According to the E-book system of marker-less augmented reality’s characteristic to design the E-book system of marker-less augmented reality’s whole structure, framework and system-related modules, and elaborated on the specific function of each module, according to the framework and modules functional design a workflow system.Finally, in accordance with the system module design ideas to achieve the function of each module, and to achieve the entire E-book system of marker-less augmented reality, To show an example of the E-book system of marker-less augmented reality illustrate the system the thesis had research has a value.
