Radio frequency identification (RFID) is a kind of electromagnetic coupling through the working modes of wireless identification technology, it is the bidirectional communication via the RF signal recognition of objects. The RFID system includes a reader, electronic label and antenna, which is crucial for read write, it can be two-way communication and electronic label, need to convey information to the computer. Current RFID industry development research and intelligence read write card is equally important, and closely related to people’s lives.In this paper, a design of RFID intelligent ISO14443card reader based on processing chip, the chip is supported by the Type specified in the ISO14443standard A protocol and Type B protocol, in order to meet the needs in different occasions, environment. The design of the digital system design method of top-down, the reader chip module layer thinning, using Verilog HDL language, FIFO bus interface, the main control module, the design of register group, sending and receiving, interrupt processing module, and code level simulation by ModelSim, after the physical verification in FPGA devices through. This paper first carries on the analysis and the introduction of the ISO14443protocol, then elaborated the RFID reader chip system design, then focus on the reader chip module design, finally read FPGA write the test chip.This thesis also reader processing chip with embedded CPU kernel DW8051as the processing core, the realization of a complete RFID reader system. System software design work mainly is the standard MFRC531reader chip design software package based on complete, between chip and CPU interface set and control processing, realize the reader on the M1card, CPU card reader function. Debug the design through the combination of software and hardware, reader test platform to achieve the expected function in the RFID.
