This thesis studies the automatic measuring and selecting system for ceramic tube size.According to the enterprise’s needs, this system will realize multi-parameter, high precision and high efficiency measurement of ceramic tube’s length and diameter at both ends,then deside the tube is qualified or not.In order to guarantee the quality of this system,the research and development are guided by the theory of DFQ(design for quality),adding the DFQ concept and quality assurance measures to the whole product design process,considering many quality factors related to product design as early and fully as possible in the design phase,such as products function, machinability, assemblability and reliability,etc, so that we can ensure the customer feel satisfaction with the product.The main works of the thesis include:1、Study the relevant literature at home and abroad,learn the DFQ theory and integrate it into the system development process.Analyse and extract the customer needs,Convert them to corresponding engineering characteristics,do the overall plan for system,develop quality planning matrix of the product.2、Complete system structure design,determine the concrete design of each module with the Pugh’s evaluation method,and then deploy system components.3、Do the research of related hardware selection,algorithm selection and parameter determination,handle the system quality optimization and synthesis on this basis with House of Quality from QFD method as a tool.Establish system optimization mathematical model,choose the appropriate design variable, objective function and constraint conditions,do optimization of the design space with calculation. Analyse the optimization results considering the feature of the practical problems to ensure them reliable and meet the requirements of customer.4、Make system mechanical structure design and component selection,prepare vision measurement and selecting control software based on Labview and PLC,complete a trial-manufacture prototype,and conduct Measurement System Analysis with the prototype.
