With the rapid development of information technology, intelligence and theInternet of Things technology have become a research focus of the next generation ofIT. Intelligent environmental monitoring system will be organic combination ofwireless communication technology, embedded technology and the Internet of Thingstechnology intelligently controlling and managing various types of sensors on dataacquisition, transmission and analysis to meet the needs of simplification andintelligence of the manual operation of environmental monitoring platforms. On theother hand, it can also be easily applied to environmental monitoring and security anddefense of laboratory, home and factories, and environmental monitoring and analysisat the rescue and disaster relief site, with a wide range of prospects for thedevelopment and application needs.In this paper, it analysis not only the development status and trends of theInternet of Things but also a detailed application of embedded technology, wirelesscommunication technology and sensor technology, combined with the currentdevelopment of environmental monitoring system, to design a stable, reliable,practical intelligent environmental monitoring system.It mainly completes the following aspects of work.Firstly, the selection and demonstration of the system design. The system willuse ARM9as the core to control the data acquisition and transmission of multi-sensorand video images, and real-time data analysis and feedback control, videosurveillance, data storage and other functions via a PC, and also use the car as thecarrier for system mobility.Secondly, the platform structures. The system hardware includes the design ofthe car system, linux system set-up, cross-compilation environment configuration, thesensor module and the wireless module and USB camera module connection. Thesoftware part includes dynamic web page code, the car intelligent control procedures,the BOA server and CGI cutting and transplantation, and the control procedures ofsensors and video image data acquisition and transmission.Finally, the FBI running. The system is successfully running in the laboratoryareas of environmental monitoring, and implements intelligent detection and displaycontrol of environmental data, to achieve the desired monitoring and controlfunctions.
