At present, with the development of science and culture and the change oflife concept, People’s requirement of intelligent, safety, comfort, privacyresidential building is increasing day by day. The traditional mode, for a table bythe and efficient,is vulnerable to human influence factors. It Can’t meet thedemand of management of modern energy. By Constructing residentiallong-distance meter reading system, it realizes the automatic computermonitoring and measurement and charge management, it has high efficiency andreliability, and improve the management efficiency.This article aims at constructing four table of water, electricity, gas, heatabout family at the intelligent community, the characteristics of dispersion islarge, we confirm the communication scheme of the system with two-stagedistributed architecture through comparing and analysising several commonmethods of communication. there is bus linear structure between rock-bottomconcentrator and harvester, with low tension power lines as the communicationmedium, the chip of PL2102with spreading spectrum designs communicationnetwork based on PLC. there is star structure between the upper managementcenter and concentrator, Ethernet connection based on TCP/IP protocol isdesigned by using chip of RTL8019AS, the data is transmited to managementcomputer in residence community and storaged, processed and analysised, andenergy management center and the system of bank charge are linked by theinternetBy choosing remote transmission meter accord with national measurementstandard about energy consumption, this paper designs the circuit of the frontdata acquisition circuit, It ensures that the data is accurate and reliable. microprocessor of PIC16C65B with high performance as the core designsharvesters and concentrator, By using the chip of series of ferroelectric FM24C,itdesigns data circuit in storage, it ensures data has accurate and security; the clockcircuit with chip of RX8025realizes timeshare billing and the designatedfunction of meter reading; it designs the circuit of the power switch andprotective circuit without power, after blackouts of alternating current, harvestercan automatically switch to backup power, ensuring the reliable operation of thesystem; the miniature computer with the handheld infrared meter reading isdesigned by the module of the infrared communication, realizing the function oflocal meter reading for users without installation of long-distance meter readingsystem., and the capacity of the system is improved for the independent ofharvester, concentrator on site at all levels.This article compiles the software about the function of the harvesters andconcentrator in the PIC assembly language, and the module of the function andthe system of communication are tested in the laboratory, and it meetsrequirements of the design. The designed residential remote automatic meterreading system has small construction, reliable data accuracy, good stability, highperformance-to-price advantages. it realizes the energy consumption situationstandardization of management, automation. it has the very good value inapplication.
