At present, with the impacts of new media which are represented by the Internet, the development of Chinese newspaper group industrialization has stepped into a new stage. Through conducting diversified and specialized operation as well as cross media operation, Chinese newspaper group has been digitalized, promoting the development of industrialization and becoming bigger and stronger in the competitive market. The achievements of Chinese newspaper group indicate that the establishment of newspaper group and the process of industrialization are the socialist media’s way of reformation and strength, which adapts to Chinese national conditions. How does Xiamen Daily keep up with times, further reform and develop the industrialization of newspaper group?By taking Xiamen Daily as the object, this article is conducted through system theories of public management to study the development features and basic paths of the industrialization of domestic and overseas newspaper groups. Furthermore, by learning the advanced experience, this research investigates Xiamen Daily’s unique process of development and external environment through macro-environment analysis and SWOT analysis. Based on the well understanding of the advantages and constrains of Xiamen Daily newspaper group industrialization’s development, this research discusses the approaches to develop newspaper group industrialization, followed by working out strategy implementation, mode selection of Xiamen Daily newspaper group industrialization’s development. In the next five to ten years, Xiamen Daily should focus on structural adjustment, capacity building and brand building in order to solve the problem of system and mechanism and improve the competitiveness of the newspaper group, achieving new glories in the future development.
