Online information lieracy cooperation education refers to a new educational model.which cultivates and improves the user’s information consciousness, information ability and the information morals by computer technology, network technology, digital communication technology and database technology and other modem technologies, composes of more than two educational institutions, the library consortium or other organizations as the organizational form develop interactive network teaching platform. The information literacy education’s nationwide and the particularity based on the recourses determines cooperation is the inevitable choice in colleges and universities. University library consortium provides a platform for educational resources integration and sharing, based on the original alliance to carry out information literacy cooperative education is an important measure to promote the resources co-construction, sharing and create a cooperative learning atmosphere. This paper investigates the online information literacy education status of Tianjin universities, and discusses how to construct the online information literacy cooperative education model of University Library consortium.This paper is divided into five chapters, the main contents include the following aspects:The first chapter reviews the related literatures and projects at home and abroad by literature survey, understands and masters the current research progress comprehensively, and then to locate the goal and innovation of the article.The second chapter introduces the concept, connation and characteristics of information literacy, information literacy education, online information literacy cooperative education, and lays the theoretical foundation for our formal empirical study.The third chapter takes Tianjin universities as the example, investigates the college students’ basic information literacy situation and the online information literaey education in Tianjin,analyzes the resent situation, problems and future needs of Tianjin universities online information literacy cooperative education.The fourth chapter analyzes the course development form, course contents and characteristics of the Texas Information Literacy Tutorial and the Internet Navigator Online Course of Utah Academic Library Consortium, to provide inspiration and reference for developing the online information literacy cooperation education of our countries’ library consortium.The fifth chapter draws lessons from foreign experience, constructs the online information literacy cooperative education model of Tianjin library consortium, and elaborates the safeguard mechanism of its smooth development.
