Model management is one of the core in Business Intelligence Platform (BIP) and the focus of the study in BIP, as well as the key to make BIP go to practical and success.In this paper, an in-depth research in model for the management of related issues in BIP, divided into three parts, the first part, through research and study the model management platform, it designs its generic framework; The second part is related technology to research and apply in the model management platform as well as design and implement of its various functions; The third part is the application about platform-case.The main contents are as follows:(1) it in detail designs the architecture of the model management plat in BIP and introduces the function of each module in model management platform;(2) Through analyze the key factors and the relationship between these factors that must take into account in building a model, decision binary tree technology is used to make express logical structure of models;(3) it in-depth studies and explores the application in metadata technology, XML technology and model base technology in expression and storage of model;(4) it introduces in detail design and realization of the typical functions in model management platform and ultimately realizes prototype of model management platform;(5) Taking real-time warning model of strip steel temperature/tension as an example, it illuminates in detail how to create, modify, store and register model, as well as data services in model management platform.
