The demand for energy and resources made the rapid development of mining in China, The smelting processes lead to increasing environmental pollution, produce large amounts of Brownfield. With the development of industrial and mining, land shortage and contradiction between human and land became serious. However, there is a large number of abandoned land. With the concept of the ecological civilization and sustainable development, China will plan comprehensive development of the hilly slope, mountain, and mining waste land, to solve the problem of insufficient resources in China. Therefore, Brownfield redevelopment would alleviate the problem of pollution and lead to rational use of land resources. It is very important and urgent to achieve sustainable development. Brownfield redevelopment should be harmless to the ecological benefits, and taking into account the social and economic benefits. This paper analyzed the comprehensive benefits of Brownfield redevelopment and evaluation of the social, economic and environmental benefits, the spatial difference, and selection of plant in order to achieve comprehensive benefits to achieve the goal of maximizing efficiency of Brownfield redevelopment.Based on the studies of related theories such as the connotation and the types of Brownfield, this paper proposes the connotation of comprehensive assessment of environmental benefits of Brownfield reuse. The coupled model was established for Brownfield redevelopment efficiency, and selection of phytoremediation plant. The Brownfield redevelopment efficiency was used as a quantitative standard for the selection of phytoremediation plant. In the first part, this paper identifies the status of Brownfield redevelopment and comprehensive benefits, analyses the characteristics. The second part according to the meaning and application of life cycle theory, divides the whole lifecycle of Brownfield into four phrases:develop, grow, mature and disappear. Based on the fourth phrase this paper studies the main factors that affect the reuse efficiency of Brownfield, and then constructs the index of Brownfield redevelopment benefits. The third part, qualitatively and quantitatively, comprehensively and focally, studies the contents and methods of comprehensive assessment of benefits of Brownfield reuse, and studies the procedures of constructing coupling model. The forth part, based on the coupling model analyses the spatial difference of Brownfield redevelopment benefits, and selection of plant in order to achieve comprehensive benefits to achieve the goal of maximizing efficiency of Brownfield redevelopment.In this paper, the genetic algorithm and BP neural network coupled model were used to study the Jiuniugang soil remediation projects in Guixi City, and evaluated the accuracy of the benefits of Brownfield reuse. he results show that there were large differences in the Brownfield redevelopment comprehensive benefits in different plot, the Shuiquan District Brownfield reuse efficiency as low as0.0506, the Sumen Brownfield redevelopment as high as0.8714, the gap between the two plots arrived9times; the Jiuniugang and Pang yuan zone benefits are similar, the effective less than0.4, belongs to the lower effectiveness zone. In a word the planting vegetation type and planting pattern, can produce different benefits. Single cultivation got a lower effectiveness. The quantitative analysis results show that The result of Sumen and Shuiquan districts showed that Sumen had better efficiency, Dingxiang and Shuishan as alternatives. The effective of Shuiquan was as low as0.051, while the change of plant would greatly increase the efficiency, comprehensive benefits up to0.579. Finally, the paper provides five policy recommendations for improving the comprehensive benefits through the analyses. It is also verify the scientific and feasibility of the theoretical study in this paper through an empirical research.
