Cotton production of Corps support the Corps economic development and improved the livesof the workers, the total production accounted for43.6%of the total output in Xinjiang.It is one ofthe pillar industries of the Corps. Already have11cotton division,110cotton mission field,accounting for63%of the total number of Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps missionfield; cotton output accounted for55%of the total agricultural output value. Its total outputaccounted for19.6%of the country’s total production, per capita cotton production andcommodity rate ranks first in the country. In cotton cultivation techniques and the yield level, theCorps has been ranked the world, cotton has continues to yield in smaller space, with the risingcost of cotton production, the competitiveness of the world cotton market being weakened, andreduce the cost of cotton production, improve cotton of Corps competition force, improve cottonincome has important theoretical and practical significance to the Corps’ economic developmentand social stability. Cotton production in China has the following characteristics, the high cost ofcotton production, labor costs grew faster, domestic market prices and purchasing and storageprice was higher than the international price of cotton, put forward changes in the Corps cottonproduction business model in this background..This article is divided into a total of six parts; first part introduces the research background,purpose, meaning, at home and abroad Research; second part of the elaboration of relevantconcepts, discusses the relevant theoretical basis, to lay the foundation for the study;three partselaboration and evaluation of the existing Corps of cotton production and business model, andestimates the marginal contribution of labor under the existing Corps of cotton production andoperation mode; section four presents to build the Corps cotton production business model’s ideasand specific method; section five Corps cottonproduction and operation mode transition measures;sixth part is the conclusion and outlook. Through research and analysis of the six parts, mainlyreveals the background of the labor marginal contribution of zero critical, as well as the need andideas for cotton production and business model transformation in order to build a more completetheoretical system.Through research can draw the following conclusions:(1) the Corps marginal contribution oflabor for cotton output at the inflection point, the contribution of labor and capital of the cottonoutput is rendered as the shift in the state;(2) the new direction of Corps cotton production andoperation mode is to reduce the labor input, reduce the cost of cotton production, improve cottonproduction scale and standardization; and to protect and enhance the interests of the mainproduction, consolidation of the Corps economic construction under the system of Corps;(4) theeffective realization of the Corps of cotton production and operation mode transformation programcan not be separated from the support and improve of the market environment and the institutionalenvironment of the Corps farms.
